Comment bien se parfumer ? Les gestes justes

How to apply perfume correctly: The right steps

Wearing perfume is an intimate, elegant, often instinctive gesture.
But do you really know the best way to apply your perfume to reveal its full richness and prolong its staying power?

At Minalys, we believe that perfume isn't just applied: it's experienced.
Mina Gautier, perfumer-creator, shares valuable advice for even and subtle diffusion: spray a mist of perfume in front of you, in the air, then slowly walk through it.

This delicate cloud allows the olfactory molecules to settle naturally on the skin, hair, and clothes, without saturating or staining them. The perfume then reveals itself gently, true to its composition and its olfactory balance.

Where to apply perfume for optimal staying power?

To prolong the presence of your fragrance throughout the day, you can add a touch of pure perfume on certain key areas, known as "pulse points", where body heat intensifies diffusion:

  • behind the ears,
  • on the inside of the wrists,
  • at the base of the neck or throat.

No need to overdo it. By focusing on a few precise gestures, you allow your perfume to express itself accurately.

It then becomes a personal, elegant, enveloping, and comforting signature — a subtle presence that speaks for you.
